Practice

Direction German → English trains recognition; English → German trains production (harder, what exams ask). Mixed alternates randomly. Applies to Flashcards and Quiz. Session length Cards per practice round. Short rounds fit between things; long rounds go deeper.

Typing

Strict mode Require exact spelling. Off: muede ≈ müde and strasse ≈ straße are accepted.

Daily goal

Cards per day The home goal ring fills when you hit this.

Backup

Downloads a JSON file with your SRS state, settings, and history. Use it to back up before clearing browser data or switching devices.

Reset

Deletes every box level, streak, and history entry. Vocabulary itself isn't affected. Cannot be undone — export first if you might need it.
